Cal Ribbens
Personal Background & Interests
I was born in Cadillac, Michigan on December 23, 1959. As a child I lived
in Marion, MI; Lake Odessa, MI; Sauk Village, IL; and Burke, VA. I received
a B.S. in Mathematics from Calvin College
in Grand Rapids, MI, in 1981.
My M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science are from
Purdue University, in 1984 and
1986, respectively.
Outside of work, my time is spent with my
family
(wife Kathy, sons Philip and Michael, daughter Christina),
my local church
(Grace Covenant Presbyterian (PCA)),
my kids' school
(Dayspring Christian Academy),
and rooting for the
Hokies
and the Chicago Cubs.
And I will rarely turn down a donut or a bratwurst.
