I am Nai-Ching Wang, entering the PhD program at Department of Computer Science, Virginia Tech in 2011. Before joining Virginia Tech, I worked as a research assistant at Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica for almost two years. I received B.S and M.S degrees both from National Cheng Kung University.
My current research interest is about combining human and machine intelligence to solve problems that can not be easily solved by either one. Therefore, my research focuses on crowdsourcing which utilizes machine learning techniques to automate data partition, aggregation and pre/post-processes and leverages crowds to tackle tasks that humans still do better.
