Flexible JAMM Download
This page describes the process of obtaining an executable copy of Flexible
JAMM and source code licensing information.

Flexible JAMM requires the installation of Swing
and either the Java
Runtime Environment 1.1.x (JRE) or the Java
Development Kit 1.1.x (JDK) . Flexible JAMM has not been tested on
any other Java virtual machines, but may work if the Installation
instructions are modified to suit.
By selecting any of the Flexible JAMM distribution file links you acknowledge
that you have read and agree to the license defined previously in this
file. Flexible JAMM Version 1.0.1 -
works with Swing
1.0.2 and 1.0.3.
Posted 6/4/98. Version 1.0.1 has usability
enhancements over 1.0
Other Shareable Components
You may download these jar files to run other Swing-based components. To
install, put the .jar file in the directory,
rJAMM<version>/jars
. Then put the script and/or DOS batch file named run_<component_name>
in the directory,
rJAMM<version>/bin . Follow the instructions
in the User's Guide
for starting and using a shared component.

Block and Plane physics simulation

This educational application, developed by the LiNC
project, simulates the classic physics experiment of sliding a mass
(the block) down an inclined plane. Students can change many physical parameters
(plane's friction, block's mass, even the force of gravity. In this example,
two students are analyzing different parts of the simulation's output.
