CS 6204 J Cho Network Science
This course will consist of three parts:
  1. learning through the lectures to cover the key concepts of theories
    and concepts in network science, including types of networks,
    mathematical representations of networks, measures and metrics of
    networks, the large-scale structure of networks, network models,
    processes on networks, and dynamics of networks;
  2. studying the state-of-the-art research papers published in the area of
    network science; and
  3. writing a research paper with a topic in network science where the
    topic can include social network analysis, information propagation
    in social networks (e.g., fake news or false information propagation),
    behavior adoptions in social networks, or networking / cybersecurity
    problems that can be solved by network science theories/concepts.
