Greetings all,

I have been invited to chair a special session on 3D interaction
and 3D user interfaces at the HCI International Conference 2001,
which will take place in New Orleans in August next year.

As part of this special session, I need to identify some
authors who are willing to contribute papers, which will
be published in the conference proceeedings. Unfortunately, I
need to have a preliminary list ready by August 1 (I just found
out about it today!).

All I need from you is a statement of your willingness to contribute
a paper, a tentative title, and a list of authors with full addresses,
emails, and fax numbers.

Sending this to me does not commit you to contributing a paper,
but you will be given first priority if you write to me now. If
I receive an email from more than 6 of you, I'll choose 6 to go
on my preliminary list based on the topics and my knowledge of
the quality of the author's work. The session is limited to six
papers.

If you are selected and you choose to send a paper, it is guaranteed
publication in the conference proceedings (there's no review process
for this type of session). The abstract for the paper will be due by
November 5, and the full paper by April 15, 2001.
