Subject: Budget HMDs review

I thought that some of you might be interested in the review article
that we published in VR News Summer/Autumn issue. It informally
evaluated the latest budget-level HMDs (i.e. cost <= $600) which
have been coming out in Japan recently. Most of them are not available
outside of Japan yet and one of the review goals was to give a close
up look at these  products, including some technical specifications and
our experience with them (another goal was to choose display for the
Shared Space demo at the Siggraph99). Do not expect any deep
scientific inquires into usability  characteristics of these displays - it
is a just a popular article.
