About me

I hail from a beautiful city in South India called Coimbatore. I did a predominant part of my early schooling in different parts of Kerala. I completed my high schooling from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Coimbatore. An important phase in my life started when I joined BITS, Pilani for my undergraduation. As part of the dual degree program offered there, I graduated with a bachelor degree in Computer Science and Master of Science in Chemistry.

As part of the Practice School program at BITS Pilani, I joined VERITAS (presently acquired by Symantec Corporation) for an internship. This helped me secure a job there where I worked for 3 years as a software engineer. I was responsible for developing lightweight distributed computing application frameworks based on CORBA (using ACE/TAO), SOAP, COM etc.

After having worked at Symantec for 3 long years, I made an important decision of pursuing a higher degree. Now I am a Master's student at the Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech, USA.

I originally hail from a small village called Chunangad in Palghat district of Kerala. My father is a retired senior bank manager while my mother is a housewife.
