To support new instructors who are starting off with Web-CAT this semester, we've added a significant amount of new documentation
on the Web-CAT web site.
Click the Docs tab to visit the Web-CAT Cookbook, which includes
recipes for many common tasks for instructors. In addition, it
includes movies showing walkthroughs of making a submission,
setting up a course offering, creating an assignment, and configuring
a plug-in. There's even a move of an installation walkthrough,
captured off the installation of the latest version of our
production server.
If you're considering using Web-CAT for a course but haven't really
tried it yet, stop by and check out the new documentation. It
should help you get started. If you've already been using
Web-CAT for a while, stop by as well. There may be documentation
on things you haven't seen before. Also, there may be unfinished
recipes that you can contribute to! You can help by writing new
recipes yourself, or even just starting off recipes by writing
down a common question, even if you don't have the solution. Let's
make this a community site. |
