Jian Chen        Ph.D. Student

I was a Ph.D. student at Virginia Tech, in the Computer Science Department and Center of Human Computer Interaction. My advisor is Dr. Doug A. Bowman, the director of the 3DI group. I am currently funded as a GRA under Dr. Bowman's NSF Career Award Project: Domain-specific Interaction Techniques.  

Before I came to VT, I performed my Master research at the University of Houston, in the Computer Science Department and Virtual Environment Research Institute. My advisor was Dr. R.  Bowen Loftin, now the vice president of Texas A & M.
