Short Bio

Kaixi Hou is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Computer Science of Virginia Tech. He is working in the SyNeRGy laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Wu-chun Feng and Dr. Hao Wang. His research interests include high performance computing, particularly in performance portability of various computational kernels on modern accelerators, such as MICs and GPUs. He is also interested in designing algorithms to automatically parallelizing/vectorizing kernels widely used in scientific computing, machine/deep learning, etc.
