I received my MS degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin in 2004, and started Ph.D under the supervision of Dr. Srinidhi Varadarajan at Virginia Tech. Currently, Dr. Naren Ramakrishnan is co-advising me too. I also have an MS degree in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University, South Korea in 1998.

From 1998 to 2000, I worked as a research engineer at the Digital TV Research Center of DAEWOO Electronics, developing digital TV software.
