About Me

I am a 3rd year PhD student working in DLRL. Currently, I am managing our 20 nodes Hadoop Cluster, which is a distributed framework/environment for CS4624, CS4984, CS5984, CS5604 and CS6604 at VT. I am also managing our data (e.g., tweets, webpages) crawling task by leveraging yourTwapperKeeper, Social Feed Manager and Event Focus Crawler. My research mainly focuses on Hadoop, tweet analysis and web archiving. Recently, I am working on historical short URL analysis, user classification on Twitter, spam tweets detection and short text summarization. When I have free time, I like playing pool and table tennis, and try my best to become a photographer.
