CS6604: Reinventing CS Education through the eTextbook
Assignment 3: Spring 2012

20% of semester grade

You must write a paper on a topic relevant to the course topic of eTextbooks. Your paper must be at least five full pages (one inch margins), single spaced at 11 point Times-Roman font or the equivalent, not including references. The final submission should be in the form of a PDF file emailed to Dr. Shaffer Final papers are due on Reading Day (Thursday, May 3).

Your paper might be on a topic related to your class presentation, or your semester project, or something else entirely. Some ideas for paper topics include: description and analysis of some existing system; an investigation and critical analysis of some pedagogical topic (such as the "No Significant Difference" controversy or the "Learning Styles" controversy); a plan for some original research.

The paper topic must be approved by Dr. Shaffer. All students should have reached agreement with Dr. Shaffer on the paper topic by Monday, February 13. By that date, send me email describing what you would like to write about.
