Course Project for Information Storage and Retrieval Class, Virginia Tech, Spring 2007

             (Project currently funded by Microsoft)

·          Member of a two-person team

·             Developed a working prototype for annotating images (captured using a Microsoft SenseCam) on a tablet                            PC and text-based search and retrieval of images

·             Used C# and the Microsoft Tablet PC SDK

                    The Microsoft project will be built on the prototype developed

 

             Course Project for Digital Libraries Class, Virginia Tech, Spring 2007

· Member of a four-person team

· Designed user interfaces for a Digital Library that would be used by the students of Virginia tech

· Developed prototypes for the screens

· Performed formative evaluations of the prototypes

 

Course Project for Software and Usability Engineering Classes, Virginia Tech, Fall 2006

· Member of a three-person team

· Developed an inventory control and billing system for the Virginia Tech Horticulture Club

· Used Java and MySQL.

· Learnt and applied both Software and Usability Engineering processes to the product.

 

Course Project, India Comnet International Pvt. Ltd. Chennai, India, January-April 2006

· Member of a two-person team

· Developed a system for monitoring client machines; the server is the monitoring agent.

· Used Java and Oracle 8i.

· Member of the Design Team for a project titled RESOURCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.

· Learnt the software engineering process life cycle.
