CS 5764 Information Visualization

This class covered basic visualization theories and strategies, as well as the current work going on in the field. In groups, we developed our own visualizations to help understand intelligence analysis data. My group explored the idea of stretching the limits of large, high-resolution visualization by spreading multiple visualizations across multiple displays, using a central controller to interact with all displays.

CS 5714 Usability Engineering

Through the course of this class, we learned the process of usability engineering by interacting with a client, the Horticulture Club of Virginia Tech, and developing the interface for a system that will run the point of sale for their yearly plant sale. We worked closely with the Software Engineering class, pairing up with counterpart teams who developed the backend for our user interface.
