I am a fourth year PhD student working with Dr. Calvin Ribbens in the Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg. As a graduate research assistant at the Laboratory for Advanced and Scientific Computing Applications (LASCA), I worked as a programming consultant assisting researchers to port their scientific parallel applications to SystemX .
I completed my MS in Computer Science in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in August 2004. My Master's thesis titled "Meta-Model Search: Using XPath for searching Domain-specific Models" was aimed at developing a generic search algorithm using XPath language for a generic modeling toolkit. My thesis advisor was Dr. Jeff Gray . I also worked as graduate assistant at the Enabling Technology Lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UAB.
Previously, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, University of Mumbai, India, 2001.
