i have been a student at
virginia tech since 1999. as an undergraduate student, i was engaged in
research under the vturcs
program. my interest in research began to grow and i decided to join
graduate school. currently, i am a phd student working in the
field of human-computer interaction.
i am involved with the research experience for undergraduates in hci or
reu in hci
program. the program brings undergraduates from other universities to
gain research experience within the center for hci.
i completed an internship at ibm tj watson
in the social
computing group in the summer of 2006. summer of
2007 was spent at ibm
almaden in the user
group.
