HCI Capstone |
This capstone course discusses approaches and issues in using immersive technologies
(virtual, augmented, and mixed reality) to create compelling user experiences. It will
discuss design principles for effective immersive experiences, and consider a wide
range of application areas.
Guest lecturers from fields as diverse as art, education, and history will present
case studies of successful immersive user experience design. Students will complete
a team project in which they design and prototype an immersive experience. Project
topics will include, but are not limited to, intelligent augmented reality for the
future of work and immersive storytelling.
Prerequisites: grade of C or better in CS 3724 and CS 3744
