Siwei joined the Computer Science Department at Virgina Tech in Fall 2020 and she previously taught in Computer & Information Science Department at Temple University. Her research interest is in AR/MR device application and security, computational thermodynamics and kinetics, and computer science education. Her doctorate research was focused on computational modelling for ternary phase diagrams and phase transformation data analysis on various Fe-based and Ni-based alloys.
