- Project: Introduction
- Each 3-member team is expected to carry out a design/implementation project.
- You are expected to visit office hours of the instructor and meet with your
team members for insuring timely completion of various steps.
Project Proposal
The project proposal is due on 2/25 (Tuesday) before class.
- Form course project team; members elect a team leader

- The proposal may contain the following sections

2-column format, 3 pages)
- Author (list leader/member name, student ID, E-mail, and department)
- Abstract
- Introduction
(including motivation, problem statement, significance of the problem)
- Related work
- Proposed approaches
- System design (including architecture, languages, software
tools, and data sets)
- References (use EndNote to insert references)
- Appendix
- Task assignment for each member
- Schedule
- Create your team's project web page

- Post the project proposal (and pictures of team members) on your team's project web page.

Project Checkpoint I
The project checkpoint report is due on 3/25 (Tuesday) before class.
- Extend the proposal to 5 pages, including a progress report for each team member.
- Post the project report on your team's project web page.

Project Checkpoint II
The project checkpoint report is due on 4/15 (Tuesday) before class.
- Extend the proposal to 7 pages, including a progress report for each team member.
- Post the project report on your team's project web page.

Project Report
The project report is due on 5/9 (Friday), 10PM.
- Final project report (IEEE two-column style format, Times New Roman, Font 10).
- 8 pages (excluding references and appendix) for 2-member team.
- 9 pages (excluding references and appendix) for 3-member team.
