The dorm itself was absolutely heinous. It smelled like cat pee the whole year. There was a few weeks where we couldn’t shower in our hall because our shower heads kept exploding. The people were awesome though that’s the only reason I said 4

My dorm was fun but some of the halls and bathroom were messy. I made some good friends.

Pritchard Hall at Virginia Tech offers a satisfactory living experience that meets the basic needs of its residents. While it may not boast the same level of luxury as some newer dormitories, it provides a comfortable and convenient environment for students to call home during their time at the university. One of the notable aspects of Pritchard Hall is its location. Situated in close proximity to campus facilities and amenities, including dining halls, libraries, and recreational areas, residents enjoy easy access to everything they need for their academic and social pursuits. This convenience makes it effortless for students to navigate their daily routines and fully engage in campus life. The facilities within Pritchard Hall, while not the most modern, are well-maintained and functional. The common areas provide comfortable spaces for studying and socializing, with adequate seating and decent lighting. The bathrooms are kept clean, though they may occasionally experience minor issues typical of high-traffic areas in a dormitory setting. In terms of accommodations, the rooms in Pritchard Hall offer a decent living space for students. While they may be on the smaller side compared to newer dormitories, they are equipped with essential furniture and amenities to support comfortable living. The beds are reasonably comfortable, and the ample storage options help residents stay organized in their living space. One of the highlights of Pritchard Hall is its sense of community. The resident advisors are friendly and supportive, fostering a welcoming atmosphere that encourages residents to connect with one another. Regular social events and activities organized within the dorm provide opportunities for students to build friendships and create lasting memories during their time at Virginia Tech. Overall, while Pritchard Hall may not offer the bells and whistles of newer dormitories, it provides a satisfactory living experience for students looking for a comfortable and convenient campus residence. Its central location, functional facilities, and sense of community make it a decent choice for those seeking a balance between affordability and comfort.

Pritchard Hall was a decent place to live. It was close to campus, which was convenient, but the rooms were small and a bit outdated.
