Xun (Steve) Jian is an assistant professor in the CS department at Virginia Tech. His research in computer architecture has been recognized by an NSF Career Award, Google Research Scholar Award, NSF CRII Award, IEEE MICRO Top Picks, and Valkenburg Graduate Research Award from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He leads the High-performance Efficient Assured Processing (HEAP) lab, where the agenda is to improve the performance, cost efficiency, and security/reliability of future computers. The lab is seeking new students, especially new PhD students
