This course will be focused on how neural-network-based machine learning techniques can be leveraged to build modern cybersecurity defenses, including threat intelligence, intrusion detection, cryptoanalysis, and scalable log analysis for enterprise security. Through reading papers, the course will explain the unique technical challenges associated with using neural networks and discuss how to systematically design and experimentally evaluate neural-network-based solutions.
