Distributed System Design and Entrepreneurship (Blockchain Edition) |
The theme of this Systems and Networking Capstone course will be Distributed System Design and
Entrepreneurship (Blockchain Edition). In collaboration with local companies, teams will
propose, design, and implement minimum-viable-products (MVPs) in advanced computer/networking
systems and develop go-to-market strategies for their products. Projects will be analyzed and
graded by local and alumni entrepreneurs based on group performance and the viability of the
go-to-market strategy. Student teams will function as a startup company and propose, track,
and be held accountable for their work plan, key deliverables and deadlines, market and SWOT
analyses, etc.
Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in CS 3114 and CS 3214.
