A main focus will be 3D user interfaces and interaction in virtual environments. The workshop is being organized by Bowen Loftin at the Univ. of Houston along with several other researchers, and will be held on Sunday March 19 at the Hyatt hotel in New Brunswick, New Jersey, site of this year's conference. I think this could be an enlightening and profitable workshop. There will be a prominent keynote speaker, working groups assigned to discuss various key issues in the field, and a panel discussion. The results of the workshop will be published most likely in IEEE Computer Graphics & Applications. Prospective attendees are asked to submit an abstract detailing their interest and expertise in this area. You can read more and sign up for the workshop and conference on the conference web site: http://www.caip.rutgers.edu/vr2000/ If you have additional questions, feel free to contact me.
