Joe (et list) A press release (http://amesnews.arc.nasa.gov/releases/2001/01_08AR.html) talks about the Nasa Ames bio-sensor project used to control a 757 Jumbo jet. It was an arm band device that picks up muscle contraction signals and substitutes for a joystick and/or keypad. It was described in a paper presented at the ISIAC 3rd International Symposium on Intelligent Automation and Control (part of the World Automation Congress - WAC 2000 Fourth Biannual WAC, June 11-16 2000, Wailea, Maui, Hawaii. http://www.wacong.com/Wac2000/wac_info.html) I got a copy of the paper from NASA Ames but have not had time to read it over yet. ============= Jerry Isdale email: isdale@acm.org web: http://isdale.com/jerry fax: 805 496 8547
