From: owner-3dui@hitl.washington.edu on behalf of Gerry Jounghyun Kim [gkim@postech.ac.kr] Sent: Tuesday, July 04, 2000 2:20 AM To: 3d-ui@hitl.washington.edu Subject: VRST 2000 Reminder Dear Colleagues and Researchers in VR, < For those who are receiving this for the second time, my apologies ... > My name is Gerry J. Kim of POSTECH in Korea. As you might heard, we are preparing to host the ACM Virtual Reality Software and Technolgy conference in Korea this october. ACM VRST is one of the premier conference in the field of VR, and this is just a reminder that the deadline for submission is coming up very soon, July the 10th. Some of you may be confused by the fact that an abstract was initially requested, and think that ones who did not manage to get their abstracts in can not submit a full paper. This is NOT the case. If you have something to submit, just submit the full paper by the above deadline (perhaps a delay of day or two should be OK), and they will be considered for review. Please refer to this web site for more info. http://vrst2000.kist.re.kr/ October in Korea is truly a beautiful time, and I dare to say that in addition to attending this excellent conference, this trip to Korea will be a very worthwhile experience (we promise to make it so !). So I hope to see you in Seoul this october. thanks, Gerry J. Kim, POSTECH. www.postech.ac.kr/~gkim
