I havent been overly impressed by any of the data on the SGI NT boxes, at least for 3d CG. They have some nice audio/video functions. I did see a nice use of the dual processor 320 at Eon Reality last week. One processor was dedicated to haptic rendering to a SensAble phantom. The Intergraph Wildcat boards seem to be the best performing high end board lately. However, I have yet to find someone who actually has had one delivered. The TDZ 2000 GX1 dual processor with Wildcat would be a kicka** box. Their specs dont say much about the audio processor. I'd want one with 3d acceleration (SB Live! or A3D, maybe SRS). As for home cards - the TNT2 cards are producing some really impressive results. I have a Gateway 550MHz on order with one of these (and a Diamond MX300 waiting to be installed).
