Of course, you could just use a button-loaded Polhemus in the left hand. The larger the object in either hand, the worse it will be, due to weight and size. The size problem I mean is -- you need desk space to put it down, and it will bump in to things. Also, a large object will be harder to hold and finely manipulate.
