You might be interested in a panel discussion happening on Wednesday morning at
SIGGRAPH, at 10:30 a.m: "The Actual Reality of Virtual Reality Software." I'll
be moderating it; the panelists are Carolina Cruz-Neira representing IA State,
Ken Pimental of EAI, Mary Cole of ARCO (yes, the oil co.), Kent Watsen, creator
of Bamboo, from Naval Postgrad school, and GMD's Bernd Froelich.

We're going to debate the status and future of software toolkits for building
immersive environments. Should be fun. Hope you can be there.
