Hi, Mike, As it happens, I built an extension to the VR system I've worked on (http://www.cc.gatech.edu/gvu/virtual/SVE/SVE.html) to support interaction, called SVIFT (Simple Virtual Interactor Framework and Toolkit). I presented the design of the system at IEEE VR '99 last April. The paper is available at: http://www.eecs.lehigh.edu/~dkessler/Publications/Interactor.VR99.pdf I would be happy to answer any questions you have about it. Other references you should look into: @InProceedings{Heath98, author = "Daniel Heath", title = "Virtual User Interface (VUI): A Windowing System for VR", booktitle = "Proceedings of the 2nd International Immersive Projection Technology Workshop (IPT '98)", year = 1998, address = "Iowa State University, Ames, IA", month = "May" } @Article{Mine97, author = "Mark R.
