Some of you already know me. For those of you who don't, I lead the research in Cardiff's C-HIVE, which we set up in 1994. Our virtual humans research (the stuff that's most relevant to this list) centres on using VHs for ergonomic design, but most of our studies are pretty low level, e.g., studying how people manipulate objects in real + virtual worlds. We've only published 1 paper on that (so far; Annual Mtg of Human Factors + Erg Soc, 1999) but the project is slowly gathering momentum (for a few details, see http://www.cf.ac.uk/uwc/psych/ruddle/C-HIVE/Human/) cheers roy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Roy Ruddle, Senior Research Associate Cardiff Human Interfaces and Virtual Environments Laboratory (C-HIVE) School of Psychology, Cardiff University, PO Box 901, Cardiff CF11 3YG Tel: +44 (0) 2920 875030 (direct), Fax: +44 (0) 2920 874858 Email: Ruddle@CARDIFF.AC.UK http://www.cf.ac.uk/uwc/psych/ruddle/
