Virtual Environments as Hybrid Systems, Eurographics UK 17th Annual Conference, EG-UK99, pp 113-128, April 13-15, Cambridge, UK : Eurographics UK Chapter. You can download these documents and other from the author's website at: http://www-users.cs.york.ac.uk/~shamus/pubs.html To also mix in the discussion by kicking in an open door: I think it is important to understand what you want to use the notation for. If you want a notation that can automatically be converted into an imlementation, you'll have different requirements than when you want a notation for describing a technique to some people (who might then make the implementation). For the later goal, you might not necessarily have to be complete in your description, but you should be understandable (which, as noted by Jeff, is somewhat of a problem in the UAN notation :-) regards, Martijn
