Subject: Re: Information for those interested in Web-CAT

Last month, I e-mailed out some basic info to those who had expressed an interest in Web-CAT (if you didn't get that message, let me know!). One of the things I mentioned was:

Recently, I had to discuss licensing issues with the Clover
team again because they changed the mechanism they use. They are very interested in Web-CAT, and told me they would be happy to provide free academic licenses for Clover use to other educators who want to use Web-CAT. That means that the only $$ one would need to run Web-CAT locally would be for a licensed copy of WebObjects (approx $100 with educational discount).

Also, I have recently procured a second server for use with Web-CAT. I intend to intall Linux on the second server and use it as a continuous integration development server for folks who want to contribute to Web-CAT's development (and maybe write an installation script and manual ;-)) without interfering with the live server.

Again, let me know if you're interested in working on Web-CAT, or just using it remotely.
