CS 6724: Service Design, Ubiquity and Mobility Spring 2015 Manuel A. Perez-Quinones The field of usability engineering has given rise to User Experience and this in turn is moving out of the computing domain into Service Design. The course will focus on the design, evaluation and implementation of interactive experiences that go beyond a single device or platform. Through research readings, class discussions and projects, students in the course will explore "service" experiences, interactions that continue over multiple devices, and context-aware services. This is a research-oriented course (readings course) where students are expected to study the literature and conduct a study as part of the semester work. Prerequisite: Permission is required to enroll.
