Cal Ribbens
Personal Background & Interests
I was born in Cadillac, Michigan. As a child I lived
in Marion, MI; Lake Odessa, MI; Sauk Village, IL; and Burke, VA. I received
a B.S. in Mathematics from Calvin College
in Grand Rapids, MI, in 1981.
My M.S. (84) and Ph.D. (86) in Computer Science are from
Purdue University.
Outside of work, my time is spent with my
family
(wife Kathy, sons Philip and Michael, daughter Christina),
my local church
(Grace Covenant Presbyterian),
and rooting for the
Hokies,
the Chicago Cubs,
and the San Antonio Spurs.
I will rarely turn down a donut or a bratwurst.
