I am a graduate student at Virginia Tech working towards earning his doctoral degree in Computer Science. He is advised by Prof. Lenwood S. Heath from the Computer Science department and Prof. Boris A. Vinatzer from the School of Plant and Environmental Sciences. My current focus is on bioinformatics specifically computational genomics. During my undergraduate and master's studies, I focused on the areas of algorithms and machine learning.
I completed my Master's degree at Kansas State University where I developed keen analytical and research skills. My main research focus was on theoretical machine learning; during which I was able to propose several data adaptation techniques to optimize tweet classification.
