About Me

I'm a quantitative researcher working on issues of AI trust and authorship in groupwork. My research uses perspectives in human-computer interaction to examine study broader issues of trust in novel information systems, such as adoption, editorial processes, human-AI collaboration, explainability, and information processing biases.

I'm especially interested in recommendation domains with traditionally protected or informally negotiated editorial processes, such as higher education and religio-spiritual storytelling.

I received my PhD at the Department of Computer Science, Virginia Tech, supervised by Donald Scott McCrickard. At Virginia Tech, I was affiliated with the Notification Systems laboratory and the Center for Human-Computer Interaction.
