Steve,
Okay, I think we're just about ready to try something with WebCAT. We've got a Windows 2000 box configured (since that's your deployment we saw that as the path of least resistance). I've got the following installed:
- Java 5 SDK Update 2
- Tomcat 5.5.9 (Runs on Java 5)
- MySQL 4.1.11
- Ant 1.6.2
- PMD 3.0 (supports Java 5)
- Checkstyle 4.0 beta 1 (supports Java 5)
- Clover 1.3.6 (supports Java 5, waiting for license key)
- ActivePerl 5.005_03 (this is old, but our IT folks use it)
We've ordered WebObjects, but haven't received it yet. Anything else I should get whilst waiting for WO? Is the Perl version (it dates to 1999) sufficient?
Thanks,

Excellent. Yes, that should work.

Don't worry about it--that part should be relatively painless, and I can take care of that.

OK, I'll put it on my list to start up some kind of "first remote install" log on the wiki, together with a feature request page.
