The goal of the workshop will be to lay out what media space means in an age of cell-phone cameras, web-cams, iChat, de facto ubiquitous computing, architectural scale displays, the Internet, and globalized work. The workshop asks the questions: what was learned by the media space research? What other research was engendered by the media space research? And what research remains to be done?
